Opportunities and activities
Membership of Racing Team provides opportunities to represent SimSiciliaRally in events and championships run by verified communities. Participation depends on team selection and each competition’s requirements. Depending on the driver’s level and sporting programme, activities may include training, briefings, timing analysis, technical support and feedback from Pro Drivers.

The selection process
The stopwatch opens the door. Talent determines who stays.
Application and profile review
Describe your experience and availability. The team reviews your profile and will let you know whether you can proceed to selection. Submitting an application does not automatically grant private access or a licence.
ORL pre-selection and qualification
Tests take place under the conditions specified by the team, using comparable parameters wherever possible. Assessment considers valid times and the gap to the performance benchmark.
Pre-selection considers the first five chronologically valid times, without cuts or infringements. The team provides the specific conditions.
Top Selection and consistency assessment
Suitable candidates progress to further assessments of pace, repeatability, car control and conduct. The programme may include a Consistency Test.
This is a separate phase from pre-selection and may require five valid runs. The five assessment areas are pace, consistency, control, adaptability and discipline.
Training and final assessment
The team may use different stages, cars or setups, live sessions and feedback from a Pro Driver to assess adaptability and the ability to put guidance into practice.
Final assessment and licence
The team decides on admission based on the overall assessment and available places. Successful drivers receive the SSR Racing License.
How performance is assessed
Valid times
Pre-selection considers the first five chronologically valid times, without cuts or infringements. The team provides the specific conditions.
Session conditions
Comparable conditions cover the category, physics, stage, environment and server configuration specified in the regulations. They do not always require the same car and setup.
Benchmark and time gap
Where applicable, the benchmark is a technical reference set by designated drivers. Time gap, pace and repeatability contribute to the assessment; the team will communicate any thresholds.
Consistency Test
This is a separate phase from pre-selection and may require five valid runs. The five assessment areas are pace, consistency, control, adaptability and discipline.
Overall assessment
Achieving a particular time or threshold does not guarantee admission.

Official Racing Team Licence
The official Racing Team licence certifies admission to SimSiciliaRally’s competition team. It is personal, valid for a season and subject to continued compliance with the sporting and conduct requirements in the regulations. This is an internal SimSiciliaRally certification and does not replace a motorsport federation licence.
Pro Driver
A professional driver on the team.
Competition Driver
A driver authorised to represent SimSiciliaRally in competition, subject to team selection and the applicable requirements.
Rookie Driver
The entry level specified by the regulations following admission.
Licence and fees
The licence is earned through selection and cannot be purchased. Some activities may require subscriptions or entry fees, with the terms communicated before you commit.

Does applying mean I join the team?
No. The team reviews your profile; admission follows the sporting assessment and also depends on available places.
Is the fastest time all that matters?
The assessment also considers the gap to the benchmark, consistency, control, adaptability and discipline.
Can I buy a licence?
No. The SSR Racing License is issued after admission and cannot be purchased.
Does the licence guarantee entry to every race?
The team chooses line-ups and drivers according to the event, preparation and driver availability.
Is there an application deadline?
Applications remain open until all places are filled. The current status is shown on this page.
What are the requirements?
Accurate information, the required session configuration, a stable connection, a recognisable Discord identity, availability for activities and compliance with the regulations.
